My name is Jacob Crone. I am a Sophomore at Christopher Newport University with a major in Theatre with a concentration in Design and Technical Theatre and Directing and Dramatic Literature.

I have been doing theater since I was six years old and have continued to love and grow in creating art on the stage. In my high school years I stage managed and lighting designed  7 mainstage productions and 1 One-Act play festival. During my time at Christopher Newport University I have worked as a Stage Manager, Lighting Designer, Assistant Stage Manager, Assistant Lighting Designer, Stitcher, and as an Assistant Master Electrician.  Outside of educational theatre I have also worked as one of the founding Stage Managers and the founding lighting designer for the James River Shakespeare Company.
